Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Dietary Supplement Product R&D Manager to lead our research and development efforts in creating high-quality and effective dietary supplement products. The ideal candidate has a strong background in nutritional science, formulation, and product development, and is passionate about advancing health and wellness through evidence-based dietary solutions. As the Dietary Supplement Product R&D Manager, you will drive the development of new products, optimize existing formulations, and ensure regulatory compliance to deliver exceptional dietary supplements to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- R&D Strategy and Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive R&D strategy for dietary supplement products, aligning with market trends, consumer preferences, and scientific advancements. Provide visionary leadership to the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Formulation and Product Development: Lead the design and development of dietary supplement formulations based on nutritional science, ingredient research, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal and external experts to select and source high-quality ingredients that align with product goals.
- Scientific Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth scientific research and literature reviews to inform formulation decisions and ensure products are evidence-based and effective. Analyze clinical studies and data to support claims and benefits of dietary supplement products.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure dietary supplement products meet strict quality standards and comply with relevant regulations, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA requirements. Collaborate with regulatory and quality teams to ensure accurate labeling, safety, and efficacy of products.
- Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the creation of product prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate formulation effectiveness, stability, and bioavailability. Design and manage sensory evaluations and consumer testing to optimize product attributes.
- Project Management: Deliver project objectives, timelines, and milestones, and effectively manage R&D projects from concept to commercialization. Implement project management best practices to track progress, allocate resources, and address challenges.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with manufacturing, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless integration of product development efforts. Provide technical expertise and support for marketing and sales initiatives.
- Intellectual Property Management: Identify and protect intellectual property opportunities through patent applications and other means, safeguarding the organization’s formulations and innovations. Budget Management:Develop and manage budgets for R&D projects, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring financial objectives are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Chemistry, or related ield.
- Proven experience in dietary supplement product R&D, with a strong track record of successful formulation and development.
- In-depth knowledge of nutritional science, dietary ingredients, and regulatory requirements for dietary supplements.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on evidence-based decision-making.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Proiciency in project management tools and software.

Salary: $5,000.00 – $6,000.00 per month Schedule:
